Keep them coming guys! I will start work on the patch next week and will be compiling a TODO list until then! Bug fixes, small features will be top priority. Small tweaks in gameplay can also be suggested. Avoid anything that would require a complete code rewrite or mapping overhaul because I won't do it. :)

Hmmmm, does that include the load of errors and warnings in the log file? :roll:
Ok, I'll open a thread so people can post the places they're getting stuck so we can opt to remove the cheats later on or just not to include them! :D

I'm hoping that the addition of the 'jostle' button will help with any sticky geometry. To search for all possible sticky areas will be quite an undertaking. The jostle will (hopefully) solve all that.

And about the log errors, those are mostly due to my sloppy coding (I'm not a coder) So hopefully some house-cleaning and code tweaks will fix that right up! Who knows, maybe by cleaning that up it will stop the crashes for some players!

Sending me screenies of the problem areas will be fine, I can take care of these with some minor adjustments to the maps and release them with the patch. It's best to keep everything 'official' and in proper single downloads so that people don't get confused with versions. :)

OK, some small level tweaking suggestions (From bottom to up, see pics below):
-The second map after the intro, where you go to see the "addict". It can be quite challenging to get up this little slope. I always have to take some speed first then jump to get up.

-This doesn't necessarily need level editing, but when you are returning to the roof and the helicopter escapes, our lovely main character decides to take his time and explain what is going on.
The bad thing is, there's one hyperactive zombie on the roof that often decides to come & pay you a visit while you are stuck reading the text, so I always need to skip the text in order to survive. Maybe make this part so that you can move around?

-Last one Just to let you know: the biggest lag-spike so far. This be the next level (or one after that) after you get the instructions to go & get gasoline, and maneuver through the barricades and basketball fields. FPS definitely under 5 when I look towards the zombies.

I completely agree, was just trying to help. :)
I'll focus on the installer then as soon as i have some free time, that is probably gonna be next month already hopefully, Uni and Work really waste my life time fast.

How about adding another level of Detail Texture in the options?

Low - 4

This level removes/hides/reduces alot of the eye-candy in the game, such as shrubs, grass, dancing leaves, newspapers, blood marks, broken glass, etc. etc.

Didn't UT2004 had an option called "Remove foliage" or something that just removed the grass?
Depending on how much it improves the performance it could make sense to create a thing like that to remove the particle effects.

Here's one I'd like to see- whenever you go up to a door you can't actually use, have the knob rattle or something. This is a feature in Half-Life as well (plus its mods) and I think that kind of audio feedback is important. Besides, it's not like there weren't 10,000 locked doors in every single Silent Hill game ever.

That said, I want more interiors to explore! I was hoping I'd be able to explore one of the houses near the woods, for example, and was kind of disappointed that I couldn't. Granted, I'm only as far as the apartments, but still.

With more interiors there's more chances of finding supplies... or using them up on the inhabitants. ;)

1# Having the winchester like shotgun to shoot 1 bullet instead of 2 .

2# A sequel or some backstorys would be nice .

3# Having a lil bit less zombies Explamation why some people like me often use much ammo and never expected to see 20 zombies on screen . Mayby you can add more spots for ammo or a lil bit zombies should do the trick ;)

4# Mayby add a bit more objectives before leaving a mission. For example do side missions to earn rewards .

Thats all in mind right now . Awseome game again hope for a sequel .

I'll take my chance to add some more things i kinda missed on this horror MOD:
+ the option to turn off the scanlines or replace them with the classic static
+ have way more indoor areas, especially between all the outdoor ones if possible as they are not as hard to design\build time-wise, easy to optimize, and make the game longer
+ times where we have HEAVY rain (yeah rain, lightnings are overrated and don't always work well at all :P), especially during the long indoor areas, it always gives a nice atmosphere to closed areas
+ light\heavy rain on some outdoor areas, allowing for a different set of sounds and slightly different environments on the following areas
